This is a smoke thrown from Alt Mid to block the vision between Pit and the A bombsite. When Ts execute through Apartments, pushing without a smoke can lead to being caught in a crossfire from both Pit and Site. This smoke effectively cuts off the line of sight from Pit, helping Ts safely take control of the site.
